Has Link Natural’s mission evolved since its founding?
Our vision has always been the same since inception. We wanted to improve the health and well-being of our consumers. We believe Ayurveda wisdom holds timeless relevance, but innovation is key to making it accessible in today’s world. Our mission is to bridge Ayurveda and traditional knowledge with modern science to innovate solutions to meet the evolving needs of the contemporary consumer.
What is Link Natural’s process for connecting historical Ayurvedic principles with modern scientific research?
We have a multi-disciplinary team that drives our product development. This team consists of eminent Ayurvedic physicians, scientists, and even Western clinicians, and we meet every week to discuss the philosophical background of Ayurveda, and their experiences, diagnosis, treatment, recipe materials, plant recipes, and more.
An idea can take 6-12 months to incubate, followed by a formal review from our Research and Development (R&D) and management teams. Finally, the project enters its development phase where the laboratory will take over product development.
Many areas of research link to this process. For example, we ensure the product meets safety, efficacy, and quality standards. Standardization is critical to offer a consistent product to the consumer.
Another area we invest in is clinical trials to assess the safety and efficacy of our products, adhering to international clinical trial standards. Also, we conduct extensive research into cultivation methods to ensure the sustainable supply of raw materials.

If we look at global trends for natural and herbal products, we have a huge strategic advantage. We have a wealth of knowledge in Ayurveda and our traditional medical systems. We can capitalize on this to find effective solutions for modern-day wellness needs and offer herbal products that appeal to the global consumer while meeting the regulatory standards of the wellness industry.
For example, our flagship product, Samahan, has reached over 30 countries, not only among ethnic populations but also in mainstream supermarkets like Costco, Macko, Rossmann, and Lulu. That gives us a chance to compete at the global level on shelves alongside big brands in the healthcare domain.
We aim for the highest quality standards, and this commitment has set the foundation for us to go global and compete at an international level.
How do you preserve biodiversity and ensure eco-friendly production practices?
Alongside our efforts in research and development, we collaborate with our agricultural team to study cultivation processes and develop agronomic protocols for medical plants.
We aim to ensure that we do not negatively impact the environment and do not overexploit plant resources. We are an ISO 14001-certified company that ensures processes are environmentally friendly.
How does Link Natural maintain a connection with its community?
We constantly engage positively with the community. For example, our out-grower programmes connect rural farming communities to our supply chain. Many CSR initiatives are taken to uplift their economy, education and health. We make an effort to educate our communities on good health and well-being.
